East Gwillimbury is a town in the Northern area of York Region. Just 30 minutes of Toronto, East Gwillimbury is a balanced community made up with several growing areas including, Sharon, Queensville Mount Albert and Holland Landing. East Gillimbury is known for its massive greenspace made up of farms, forests and recreational communities. We have seen a steady growth in the area over the past 20 years but nothing compares to the beauty and openess of this area. East Gwillimbury stretches from south of Ravenshoe Road, north of Green Lane, west of York Durham Line and west of Bathurst Street. It provides a wonderful opportunity for first time home buyers and those searching for a more serene setting.

There are smaller communities that offer townhouses and bungalows. Many of the older bungalows offer large lots, which attract builders and contractors who like to build custom homes or contractors who love to renovate and sell to the end user . The average price for a home is about $1,300,000 mainly because of the larger lots and homes. East Gwillimbury prices range from $700,000 to over 8 million.



East Gwillimbury Neighbourhhoods

The boundaries for Sharon are south of the Village of Queensville, North of Green Lane, East of 2nd Concession and West of Highway 404.  Newmarket is minutes away and is close enough to offer all major amenties. Sharon still boasts a small town community with farmers markets, local owner shops and restaurants. In the centre of town is the starlight Drive-in still which is still showing movies. Sharon is home to many quality golf courses and club faciltities thoroughout the area. Transportation is quite good with the Go taking you directly to Toronto and Hwy 404 just minutes away.

Queensville is just north of Sharon with Queensville sideroad to the north, Doane Road to the south Woodbine to the east and concessin road to the south. Queensville is a vast region and not like Sharon. Most homes are on the main streets. 

Mount Albert is similar to Sharon offering a small town feel.
Holland Landing is the largest community in the west of East Gwillimbury. Known as the fertile crescent of Ontario Holland Landing boasts a wonderful community surrounded by farmland.

The average price is $1,400,000 with the price market getting stronger year by year.  Sharon has offered larger lots of land for their homes although the newer properties are on smaller lots. Most properties tend to be from 30 - 60 ft. wide. The depths can range from 90 to over 300 ft.. 
Queensville and Mount Albert are very similar to Sharon offering similar real estate. Holland Landing is one of Canada's most fertile agricultural locations and tends to offer  farmland over residential houses.
