Bradford and the surrounding area, is home to the abundant and well known Holland Marsh, an agricultural wetland producing a large quantity of Ontario's produce.  With walking trails at your doorstep, including hundreds of acres of forest to explore, a local dog park, a farmer’s market with local produce, artisans exhibits, restaurants and amenities. The Town of Bradford has recently experienced plenty of growth in the real estate market.  New home builds are very popular in the area.

 

Bradford West Gwillimbury offers easy access to Hwy 400 at exit Hwy 88. Commuting is approximately 40 minutes south to Toronto, and daily GO Train transportation services are available.  Bradford’s future holds a massive new development plan called the “Bradford By-Pass” linking Hwy 400 to Hwy 404. This is a planned 4-lane highway which is 16 kilometers in length. An Estimated date of commencement is forecasted within the next several years.  The purpose for construction, is to improve traffic flow efficiency and to reduce commute times.
 

Originally established as a farming community, Bradford remains to be viewed as a rural setting with combined infrastructure to support the local community’s demand.  One of the favourite activities that residents love about the area is to hike, bike, walk, and visit Scanlon Creek Conservation Area approx. 6 km north of Bradford which is great for Bird watching across over 700 acres.

Bond Head offers small town charm, a sense of community, local business and a public school named after former resident Sir William Osler, “The father of modern medicine”.

We have seen neighbourhoods from luxury homes, detached, (three and four bedrooms), to townhouses.  Bradford has become very popular for it's value with a steady rise over the past 10 years. Bradford still offers the small town charm in it's older neighbourhoods along Yonge Street, spreading Heritage charm in homes on larger lots.
